[attr="class","nintales-title"]mission guidelines,
[attr="class","nintales-break"].
[attr="class","nintales-body"]
In organized settlements, individuals capable of combat such as shinobi and samurai are given missions (任務) depending on their capabilities. The missions are categorised by rank, which is determined by the mission’s possible danger or level of importance.
[break][break]
On Ninja-Tales, regular missions can be taken and embarked on freely, while critical engagements will be run by staff. Missions will rotate after being available for a certain period of time, some may reappear, others may not. Members cannot embark on the same mission twice unless they are assisting someone else in its completion.
[break][break]
Missions are catalysts for rank advancement, and members are allowed to have as many mission threads ongoing as they can handle so long as they can remain active on all of them. Staff reserve the right to suspend a member’s ability to take on missions or withhold rewards if they find the system is being abused.

[attr="class","nintales-subtitle"]ADDITIONAL MISSION GUIDELINES
[attr="class","nintales-body"]
▶ No missions may be embarked on alone and must have at least two participants. Genin cannot participate with just other genin, unless one of the genin are ‘elite genin’, in which case exceptions may be made up to C-Rank missions.
[break][break]
▶ If a team of genin wish to embark on a mission above C-Rank, they must be accompanied by a team leader— a jōnin or a chūnin— to ensure their safety regardless if they meet the member count requirements.
[break][break]
▶ Shinobi should only attempt missions suited to their skill level. Be sure to read each mission’s guidelines in their entirety to check if outclassed shinobi are banned from participation.
[break][break]
▶ When you’re ready to embark on a mission, simply create a thread with the tag [MISSION] with your team members. Once you’ve completed all objectives, you can claim your rewards here. Some regular missions may hold plot importance and thus participating members must sign up and are limited- if this is the case, the mission briefing will note this.[break][break]
▶ If you are helping someone else with completion of a mission you have already completed, you cannot claim the reward a second time.[break][break]
▶ Participants are not always limited based on village or affiliation; some missions can be embarked on as a collaborative effort by individuals from various villages and/or affiliations.[break][break]
▶ Kage and village rulers are able to create custom missions for shinobi to complete. To do this, contact a staff member to discuss details on Discord.

[attr="class","nintales-subtitle"]MISSION RANKS AND WHAT THEY MEAN
[attr="class","nintales-body-2"]
All mission rewards differ depending on the task(s) at hand, but you can find a general description of each rank below.[break][break]
Most commonly assigned to genin, especially those fresh out of the academy. D-Rank missions pose almost no risk to the ninja’s life and usually consist of odd jobs like farming and manual labor.[break][break]
Assigned to more experienced genin or chūnin. These missions have little to no chance of combat against other shinobi, but may involve conflicts with bandits or highwaymen, background investigations, eliminating thieves, and capturing or suppressing wild animals.[break][break]
Assigned most often to chūnin. These missions are anticipated to involve combat with other ninja. Examples are guarding people, espionage, or elimination of certain shinobi.[break][break]
Assigned most often to jōnin. A-Rank missions concern village or state-level matters and trends. Examples are guarding VIPs or suppressing ninja forces.[break][break]
Assigned only to the most experienced of jōnin and a team of highly capable shinobi. S-Rank missions concern state-level confidential matters, and may involve the assassination of VIPs and the transportation of classified documents. These missions will not be readily available to be undertaken and must be assigned by village leaders, kage, and staff.
