Chosen as a sage by the Emperor Of Earth, Watabachi has begun to practice the peculiar techniques the insects employ as naturally as breathing. One side effect of his exposure and clumsy handling of Nature Chakra has been his body suddenly sprouting the tail of a scorpion, complete with a stinger. It can be moved as easily as one would their arm with the added benefit of containing venom that could temporarily shut down the lungs.

Kamizuru Clan members are able to control bees, wasps, and hornets to use in their secret techniques. Like the Aburame Clan, these members are functionally living hives for the insects to live in and feed off their chakra. In addition, due to their control of bees, members of the clan also produce chakra-infused honey in their bodies that they also incorporate into their techniques. The venom from the 'sting' of their insects and techniques is incredibly potent.

The Pixie Bullets are an odd species of flying scorpion that Watabachi observed around the "Great Caparace Gorge" after his first visit as well as his many others. After collecting a few he bred them for the sake of his hive and found that they are effectively as hard as iron when they've been infused with Earth-natured chakra. Which is how they got their name. Paired with an irritating venom that causes mild rashes they serve as quite the distraction for Wata when he employs them correctly.

Unlike the insect summons from his living hive the Chain Whip techniques that Watabachi chooses to wield had to both be trained and created from scratch. He struggles to handle it effectively at all times and even the smallest misstep could lose him a finger. Yet he finds that the whip fits him more handily than any blade. It allows him to keep a distance, zoning his foes imperfectly while he directs his insects to strike his foe.

A simple technique, although the strength of the binding varies significantly depending on the shinobi’s overall level of strength and control. Can stop an opponent entirely, slow them, and/or render them vulnerable to attack.

(D-RANK //RANGE: NA // DURATION: 3 (unless ended early) // CD: 4) The user converts earth into fine sand beneath their feet, allowing them to dig and pass through like a mole. While underground, they can pinpoint where they are, as well as sense vibrations overhead while hiding in a depth enemies can’t normally reach. Once they dig, the earth above them is returned to normal, leaving no trace of their entry. Excellent for infiltration and information gathering.

(D-RANK // RANGE: LONG // DURATION: NA // CD: 3)The user summons a swarm of bees with explosion tags attached to them. These bees then swarm a target to sting them before the tags explode. The persistence of the insects makes this technique difficult to avoid in its entirety.

(D-RANK // RANGE: SHORT // DURATION: 2 (unless dispelled) // CD: 4) The user creates several ghost-like figures clad in black that emerge from the surrounding environment. These figures slowly move towards their target to provoke them into attacking empty air; they are unable to do damage due to their illusory nature. This genjutsu affects a small targeted area, and will dissipate in the target’s eyes if they leave its bounds.

(C-RANK //RANGE: LONG // DURATION: 2 // CD: 4) The user summons a large number of bees that swarm and sting their opponent. Every time a bee is injured or destroyed, it releases a sticky honey on the opponent strong enough to immobilize them temporarily. This is very effective on opponents to rely on taijutsu and other close-range physical attacks.

(C-RANK // RANGE: LONG // DURATION: NA // CD: 4)The user summons a swarm of bees to shoot their poisonous stingers at their targets. The toxins in their stingers cause numbness and paralysis, and can be fatal in large doses. Once they shoot their stingers, the bees, close to death, will bombard the target even further and proceed to explode into a caustic, honey-like substance that eats through rock and bark with ease.

(B-RANK //RANGE: SHORT // DURATION: NA // CD: 3) Requires a high degree of chakra control. Diverts and stores chakra into one’s hands or feet before releasing it onto a target with pinpoint timing, increasing strength hundredfold for a single strike and making the attack powerful enough to split open the ground.
