Kishi's sense of fashion usually revolves around tradition than modernity. A key attribute to her fashion is her long yellow scarf wrapped around her neck. Her build is full-figured with well-rounded proportions and weighs around 125 lbs (57 kg).

Konohagakure… What a joke it was.
[break][break]
The middle child of her family with a younger sister, Kairi, and an older sister, Ichika, Kishi was part of the minuscule opposition that rebuked The Will of Fire. It was a flawed philosophy; “love” and “selflessness”, sacrificing one’s self for the greater good, it made her home and comfortable to where it created weakness. Konohagakure transformed into a mere tourist spot for outsiders to visit and the majority of its population being non-shinobi and it disgusted Kishi. She acknowledged that the Curse of Hatred was also untenable in its own right, but it never left room for incompetence.
[break][break]
She grew resentment towards the previous Hokage that allowed the village to degrade itself as a great shinobi nation, particularly towards the second Hokage that agreed to the major budget cut to the village’s military force. The civilian life wasn’t Kishi’s calling, and she knew she had to do something about the village’s current state. Peace was present, but danger remained imminent. With the exception of her eldest sister, Ichika, her family took the mundane route of living and became civilians of Konohagakure.
[break][break]
Kishi naturally grew closer to Ichika with their occupations whereas with the rest of her family she grew distant from. They’ve excelled within their respective classes, albeit admittedly Kishi considered Ichika to be gifted in her skills. She had immense respect for her eldest sister who displayed strong qualities of a shinobi and wanted to achieve the same level of strength, even going as far as wanting to surpass her.
[break][break]
Ichika was the first to be chosen to become an Anbu operative, followed by Kishi joining just months after. It didn’t matter whether or not Kishi held any sort of power within the organization, but this meant she was able to work closer with the Second Hokage. It was the only way to hopefully sway the second Hokage’s stance on the state of the village’s shinobi forces and rebuild it back to its once prodigious state.
[break][break]
Throughout the years since her arrival into the Anbu, Kishi began to politic her way around the second Hokage and further proved her efficiency in the organization. The second Hokage recognized her efforts and grew a close bond of professionalism; it extended to the point of where Kishi was appointed to be the successor. Unfortunately, her efforts were wasted when the second Hokage stood firm on his stance on the budget cut of the village’s military force.
[break][break]
The firm way of thinking from the second Hokage resulted in Kishi taking drastic measures; she needed to become Hokage. She was already appointed as the successor to take the position and she knew she had to speed up the process. She gathered her closest allies within the Anbu, excluding Ichika and those that shared the same sentiment as her in regards to the military force and the majority of the village's population being non-shinobi, and constructed a clandestine plan that guaranteed taking the position immediately: a planned assassination against the second Hokage. She knew her sister would protest and report her to the Hokage immediately; it was a heart aching thought with leaving her sister in the dark and knowing her gruesome plan, but it was a better alternative than what could’ve come after if she told Ichika what was going on.
[break][break]
Kishi and her group led the Hokage out of the village with the excuse that a Kage from another village scheduled a meeting to see him. With the trust of his operatives, he agreed with ease. All of Kishi’s allies were present and surrounded the Hokage as guards, except Kishi herself. She was the one that wanted to take the killing shot. She earned it, and it was hers, and hers only. She hid among the trees and positioned herself to get a good view of the Hokage. In a kunai in her grasp, she awaited for the Hokage and her allies to come into vision.
[break][break]
As soon as she spotted them, she readied herself and flung the kunai that traveled hundreds of meters in one swift motion. The Hokage got struck by the kunai straight on the head. His lifeless body crumbled in an instant as Kishi’s allies were swift to crowd around his body and act as if they were searching for where the kunai came from and the perpetrator behind the fling. In reality, they already started to collect his corpse and bring him back to Konohagakure in preparation for his funeral.
[break][break]
A cover up story was made; they were ambushed by a large group of shinobi from a minor village and one of the opposing shinobi managed to assassinate the Hokage. A funeral service was eventually held for the second Hokage and Kishi was one of the many people that attended the event, “mourning” for the loss of the village’s Kage. She spoke about her candid relationship with the deceased figure and how the tragedy of his death affected her greatly.
[break][break]
All while wearing red under her all black outfit.
[break][break]
After the service, Kishi became the third Hokage as appointed by the previous Hokage before his death. No one suspected a thing and fell for the cover up story. If it weren’t for her allies within the Anbu, such a plan would’ve never been carried out or even a thought to consider. With those same allies, she created a sub-division within the Anbu; Root. They worked directly with Kishi in carrying out what’d be considered to be “illicit”; kidnapping, assassination, spying, all that would benefit Konohagakure in Kishi’s vision.
[break][break]
Kishi was already closer to her goal of rebuilding Konohagakure’s military force. Even if it meant breaking down other villages and conquering them as Konohagakure territory, she would do it.
[break][break]
One day, everyone will understand her actions and thank her for taking a more aggressive approach. For now, Kishi had to be discreet and subtle with her schemes.
